PRAYER FOR THE 2025 NFL SEASON
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts as a new NFL season begins. We thank You for the joy, excitement, and unity that football brings to so many. Today, we lift up the entire NFL community—players, coaches, staff, officials, and fans—placing this season in Your hands.
Lord, we pray for the NFL organization, its leadership, and all team owners. Grant them wisdom and integrity in their decisions, that they may lead with fairness and respect, always striving to uplift the game and those who dedicate their lives to it.
We ask for Your guidance over coaches and support staff. May they lead with wisdom, teach with patience, and make decisions that reflect strategy, discipline, and integrity. Give them the strength to mentor and uplift their players, both on and off the field.
For the players, Lord, we pray for protection. Keep them strong, healthy, and free from injury. Grant them endurance, humility in victory, and grace in defeat. Let them compete with honor, always remembering the platform they have to inspire others through their actions.
Bless the referees and officials, that they may judge fairly, call games with precision, and uphold the integrity of the sport. May their decisions be just and their work respected by all.
We also pray for the fans, Lord. May they embrace sportsmanship, respect for one another, and a love for the game. Let the spirit of competition bring us together, reminding us that, win or lose, we are all part of something greater.
Father, let this season be one of excellence, respect, and joy. May the bonds formed through football reflect the unity, perseverance, and faith You call us to live by every day.
And may the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, our favorite team, remain contenders and sail into another playoff season
