Opportunities for the next generation
Learning, leadership and football
A school visit, a chance to compete or time with an experienced mentor can make football part of a young person's wider education. These programs connect the game with participation, recognition and future possibilities.
School connections
The Jr. Bucs Middle School Flag Football Program supplies equipment and instruction in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, including visits from certified instructors and Buccaneers Legends. Raise the Flags school activities bring team spirit into the classroom and onto the playground, while Krewe Student Athletes offers home-game experiences.
Coach of the Week recognition also supports the adults guiding young athletes: the winning coach's school football program receives a $2,000 Foundation grant.
She is Football
The She is Football Scholarship, established in 2020, connects girls' participation in organized football with higher education. The 2026 announcement invited eligible female high-school seniors nationwide to apply; that year's application deadline has passed.
She is Football Weekend on March 6–7, 2026 brought together a career summit, mentoring, a 5K run/walk/stroll, a market and festival, and a flag invitational. The program gives fans a way to celebrate women in sports, business and the community.

A stage for girls' flag football
The eighth Girls Flag Football Preseason Classic began on February 9, 2026 at AdventHealth Training Center. High-school teams took the field at the Buccaneers' practice facilities to help open Florida's flag football season.
The event puts girls' teams in the spotlight and gives the fan community more football to follow beyond the NFL schedule.
Developing future coaches
Created by the Glazer family, the Buccaneers National Coaching Academy gives coaches experience that can help them pursue opportunities in the NFL. Its third annual session began on May 4, 2026.
Participants learned through team meetings, rookie-minicamp coaching and masterclasses. In July, the Buccaneers named five members of the 2026 class as fellows selected to return for training camp.

Support for children and families
Health, food and everyday needs
Tackling Hunger with Mosaic
The Buccaneers and Mosaic began their Tackling Hunger partnership in 2021, supporting Feeding Tampa Bay's work to build and manage food pantries at local schools. The program connects families with food through places already central to their children's lives.
A recent example is the pantry opening at Robinson Elementary School in Plant City on March 13, 2026. It provides a specific 2026 milestone in an ongoing effort to address food insecurity.

Glazer Vision Foundation
The Glazer Vision Foundation provides free eye screenings and prescription glasses to children in need in the Tampa Bay area. Its Mobile Vision Clinic brings eye-care specialists, examination equipment, frames and a lens laboratory to schools and community locations.
This related Glazer family charitable effort focuses on making vision services available to children who need them. Families and organizations can use the foundation's own website to learn about its work.
Cut and Color Funds the Cure
The Buccaneers' 12th annual Cut and Color Funds the Cure event took place at AdventHealth Training Center on June 11, 2026, benefiting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
The team's official gallery captures players, coaches, staff, alumni, cheerleaders and Captain Fear joining the occasion. It is a community tradition that brings the wider Buccaneers family together in support of a cause beyond football.
Neighbors helping neighbors
Service, recognition and recovery
Honoring military service
Since 2012, the Salute to Service Suite has welcomed selected military members and their guests to Buccaneers home games. The team also recognizes a Hero of the Game and celebrates military families through the General H. Norman Schwarzkopf Military Family of the Year Award, established in 2014.
These traditions make recognition part of game day and give the crowd an opportunity to thank those serving the community and country.
Buccaneers Day of Service
The 2026 Buccaneers Day of Service, presented by Jabil, took place May 26–28 at the Wilbert Davis Belmont Heights Boys & Girls Club in Tampa Bay.
The official photo gallery documents the team's community-service event at a local youth organization. For fans who enjoy following the Buccaneers beyond game highlights, it offers a look at the organization's involvement in neighborhood life.
Glazer Family Small Business Fund
On December 6, 2024, the Glazer family announced a $1 million Small Business Fund for businesses in Tampa Bay and West Central Florida recovering from Hurricane Milton. The announcement followed a separate $1 million donation for Hurricane Helene relief.
These commitments are part of the region's recovery story. The original fund announcement explains the program's purpose and the communities it was created to support.
