Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked to break a winless streak against Green Bay at Lambeau Field that dated back to 1989.

Brad Johnson connected on two touchdown passes, and Martin Gramatica scored two field goals for a 20–14 lead late in the fourth quarter. The Buccaneer defense also performed, intercepting Brett Favre twice. With 3:03 to go, however, Allen Rossum scored a game-winning 55-yard punt return touchdown to foil the Buccaneers' chances at victory.
