The Buccaners defense kept Newton on the plank with continued pressure and four interceptions, Adams personally anchored three of them. Winston threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 24-17 victory over the Carolina Panthers this Sunday.

The Buccaneers, now 5-7 standing 3rd in the division with the Falcons loss, won for the second straight time since Winston regained his starting posistion and ending a four-game losing streak, and featuring a game he had no turnovers.

Tampa Bay's secondary ravaged Panthers quarterback Newton as Safety Adams made three interceptions, becoming the forth Buccaneers player in franchise history with three interceptions in a game since Talib with three on October 4, 2009 against the Redskins in Washington, the other two belong to Ronde Barber. The games fourth interception was made by Cornerback Elliott, his first professional interception.

The Buccaneers only committed one turnover, Barber fumbled the ball as he attempted to extend his arm over the goal line inside the Panthers 1-yard line in the second quarter.
