***HISTORIC MARKER*** Quarterback Vinny Testaverde became the only Buccaneers Quarterback to rush for 100 yards in a single game, 48 of the yards during one play, the longest run by a Buccaneers Quarterback ever beating Parnell Dickinson's 46-yard scramble from the 1976 expansion season.
The Buccaneers controlled the game clock for thirty-six minutes of regulation play as they completed a season sweep of the Vikings during Richard Williamson's first game as head coach.
In spite of only gaining 13 first downs, three lost Minnesota fumbles and five interceptions Tampa Bay players and BuccaneersFans celebrated the home victory.
