Volunteers and Fan Ambassadors

We're not telling you it is going to be easy, we're telling you it's going to be worth it.

When the Southern Museum of Music opens we will be auditioning for dynamic VOLUNTEERS to join our team!
As a family attraction and educational programi, our mission is to engage, educate, and emerse our guests into the southern music experience.

We have several sponsored fundraising opportunities that would benefit frpm volunteer support.

At present to volunteer your service, you must be resourceful, working both independently and with a team, and be able to take initiative in performing assigned tasks. Once the museum is officially open we will feature an extensive volunteer and intern program. At present opportunities within the organization invividuals are expected to be versed in each of these areas.

To be considered, you must possess efficient computer/technology literacy. Volunteer experience within a non-profit, special event, or music venue or related field preferred. You will be frequently required to stoop, stand, walk, climb, lift and use repetitive motions and must be able to stand long periods of time in all weather conditions.

As a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old. You will be required to attend meetings and also be an active member of the Southern Museum of Music.
