2025 NFL DRAFT!
BUCS Draft Log – Captain's Orders for New Blood
MEET US AT RAYMOND JAMES!
TAMPA, FLORIDA - RADER - April 5, 2025, 2:00pm ET - DRAFT PARTY Presented by Miller Life - Raymond James Stadium, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 8:00pm!
2025 Buccaneers Draft Log – Captain's Orders for New Blood Ahoy, me hearties! The winds of change be blowin’ strong across Raymond James waters, and this ol' pirate’s spyglass is fixed on the 2025 NFL Draft—our next great raid for treasure… and talent. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers be preparin’ for war, lookin' to recruit the fiercest warriors the league has to offer, especially on the defensive frontlines. We need new shipmates to keep our cannon-firin’, plank-walkin’, treasure-takin’ conquest alive!
Battle Stations: Defense Be the Name o’ the Game Word in the crow’s nest is some of our veteran defenders may be jumpin’ ship to free agency, leavin’ gaps in our hull that need fillin’. So, what be a proper crew to keep the Buccaneers battlin’ at full strength?
Cornerback: We’ll be scannin’ the horizon for a sharp-eyed swabbie who can guard the aft deck and chase down any scurvy dogs tryin' to breach our secondary.
Edge Rusher: Our sails won’t fly without a new powder-keg ready to storm the edge and bring the thunder. We seek a sea-demon who can collapse the enemy’s line and strike fear in their hearts!
Linebacker: Every ship needs a trusted deckhand in the middle o’ the fray—agile, vicious, and loyal to the end. We be huntin’ for more than just depth—we want a storm-bringer ready to drop anchor and lead the charge.
Other Positions on the Map:
Safety: A clever lookout in the crow’s nest never hurt—versatility and speed in the secondary could be the difference between victory and bein’ shark bait.
Offensive Line: While our galley holds fast for now, we’d be wise to patch the hull with strong, sea-hardened blockers—depth now means fewer leaks later.
Draft Strategy: Pickin’ With Purpose:
The Buccaneers won’t be throwin’ darts blindfolded, nay! We’ll be trustin’ the charts and seekin’ the best mateys where the need be greatest. Defense leads the way, but a keen captain knows when to make room for surprise treasure—should a gem be glintin’ in the sun.
So raise the Jolly Roger, Fanatical BUCS Fans! A new crew be comin’, and together we’ll set sail toward glory, plunderin’ victory on every shore.
And with every pick and every battle plan, ye can feel it in the air—the drums of conquest, the smell of smoked meats, and the clash of flags in the wind... it can mean only one thing: the beginnin’ of another legendary tailgatin’ year in Buccaneer waters!

Peanut Butter/Brittle Cannonballs
Substitute almond or nut butter for those with peanut butter allergies.
In a large bowl, add peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla, salt and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixture until everything is combined.
Roll in peanut brittle
Use a 1-ounce cookie scoop (or about two tablespoons) to portion out the peanut butter/brittle mixture. Roll the 1-ounce portions into smooth balls and place onto a baking sheet.
Refrigerate the peanut butter balls for at least 30 minutes.
Combine coconut oil and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between, until the mixture is melted.
Stick a toothpick or a skewer into a peanut butter ball and dip it into the chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off and then put it onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
Repeat until all the cannonballs are coated. Chill in the fridge for at least 45 minutes before serving.

2025 BUCCANEERS NFL DRAFT ORDER

The Buccaneers Are Contenders
Draft Day: April 24-26, 2025
With the 2024 season now all but in the wake of our ship, the Buccaneers will turn their attention to this offseason where they will have several decisions to make, including what to do at offensive coordinator if Liam Coen abandoneds ship, free agency, trades, cuts, and so forth. However, one of the main ways that Tampa Bay can look to improve their roster is through the NFL draft that is set to take place in April from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
